After the Tribe Swap, it’s Kelley and not Dale who is the latest player who got voted out on Survivor San Juan Del Sur Episode 5

Kick back with your Chinese food as the smartest guys around break down the San Juan Del Sur tribe swap live on Survivor Know It Alls!

Tonight’s episode saw a tribe shuffling that placed most of the remaining pairs of loved ones on to a single tribe. Ultimately no matter what tribe she found herself on, Kelley was perceived as a threat, and Stephen is very eager to hear why she thinks she was seen this way during her media tour tomorrow. He and Rob agree that Dale really blew the game for Kelley because he was unable to reconcile with Baylor. Rob felt that Missy and Baylor could have actually worked with Kelley, but Dale was too immature given his age in order to make that alliance feasible. Stephen understands the decision to get rid of Kelley over Dale, considering she was more physically fit, likely to win challenges, and had the potential to flirt her way to the end if necessary. With Dale now likely to come after Missy and Baylor, Rob feels that players trying to retaliate against the people who voted out their loved one was not really seen in the original Blood vs Water season. Stephen counters that players like Brad Culpepper who were seen as “voting out everyone’s loved one” were eliminated on their original tribe before they had the chance to be taken out in a more vindictive fashion.

With the tribes swapped, the new Hunahpu tribe found their food source depleted and once again tried to barter with Jeff Probst. Stephen and Rob discuss their own experiences trying to ration rice on the island – Rob feels that while overeating can lead to awkward bartering situations with Jeff like the one seen on Survivor: The Australian Outback, it’s probably just as foolish to ration the tribe’s rice under the assumption that it will have to last them all 39 days, with more rice likely to be made available at a merge or through rewards. He also references the infamous Brandon Hantz and J’Tia rice dumping incidents, claiming that no one can dump out the rice you’ve already eaten. Stephen agrees, also believing that being the rice stickler is never good for someone’s game.

To #RHAP up the show, Stephen and Rob answer your questions live: How often do pre-merge targets go deep into the game? Why are all the guys on this season calling the women “bitches”? Is it better to be a couple on a tribe of singles, or a single on a tribe of couples? And will anyone buy Stephen pretending to not be the world’s biggest Pretty Little Liars fan? The answer to these questions and more on Survivor Know It Alls!

Survivor Know It Alls is sponsored by Hulu Plus – binge on TV shows and movies like Hunahpu eating rice for just $7.99 a month!
