What we're doing here right now, I will ask you some tough questions about the Groove Affiliate program, how other people can be successful with the with the Groove affiliate program. And I hope you will share some behind the scenes insights with [00:01:00] us. I'm really excited before we dive into.
[00:01:03] Deep dive deep, dive into everything. Can you give some, give us a little bit about your background, how you ended up working with Mike Filsaime and Groove Digital
[00:01:14] Joe Jablonski: [00:01:14] all right. Quick background. I don't know how quick you got a few hours. Really quick thing is I met Mike Filsaime 30 years ago. So we've been very close friends.
[00:01:22]I got involved with him. No, we were in car sales got involved with Mike online in 2006. He asked me to come work with him. I didn't know what a domain was. I didn't know what a website was. And I got involved 2006 working with Mike Filsaime. From there that 2006 site. So it almost took us almost 10 years.
[00:01:43] We actually 2018, we started the whole group thing. We went, had our ups and downs. And who is Joe J someone that, Sales I'm trying to think real brief, give you a briefing on me. We got on, I got him involved with Mike 20 [00:02:00] 2006 and 2018. We started the group. But in that time I've gone through, it's not an overnight success and don't think, Oh, I always had the life and everything like that.
[00:02:11] I moved in 2014 to Florida from New York. I didn't have any money. The house I was buying when I was moving to Florida, didn't work through. So I was driving to Florida with my family, all our furniture and no way to live. I had to come to new Florida. And then I was working for a company Mike Filsaime was in and he had a partner and it was Kartra and I was like, go from Kartra.
[00:02:34] I didn't get along with one of the owners. I Andy Jenkins. And here I am, I just moved to Florida. I've been here like four months. I had no job. No money coming in and my wife was doing some, accounting, but I had to do anything I had to sell on Amazon. I sold on eBay and I was doing Ubering at night just to get by.
[00:02:55] So doing that, and then two years later, Things were still struggling. It was [00:03:00] 2016. I had a knock on my door from the sheriff saying that I had to move because I was the behind on my rent. So I just want to let people know I was in the same show. There's a lot of people were I had no way to live.
[00:03:12] I, I had, I was getting kicked out of my home. So from there in 2016, I had to buy, I actually wound up. Again, some friends and moving to another house that I had to rent and we started building and I saw it again with Mike and we started building things up. And then in 2018 we started a group and things started getting better and better.
[00:03:34] And I'm still doing Ubering. I'm still doing E-bay. I'm still doing Amazon. I'm actually. Packaging things up. I do a lot of diversity even though Groove is doing great. I still like extra money. It's found money. I just do a lot of things. So after that, now I've been in Florida six years. It's 2020, COVID hit, everyone's struggling.
[00:03:54] And then Groove is going up. I was actually able to buy my first house in [00:04:00] Florida. I've been renting for six years. I actually, I bought a new house. Not, it's not a new house, but it's new to me. I was able to get it, a house with, extra bedroom for my mom to stay at. I got a pool. What did you Cousy?
[00:04:11] I got a nice backyard. I got the Palm trees, everything, but I worked hard to get here. That's my background. It's not something that happened overnight is always struggles, but because of taking action and what I do is I read a lot of books. I and the best book I would have say three of my best books is thinking grow rich, which I read twice a year, maybe three times awaken the giant within, which changed my life in 1988, 98, and now three feet from gold, which I read a few years ago.
[00:04:43] And I said, I'm three feet from that. Now I'm actually hitting the gold. I'm hitting the Groove gold and it's all because of motivational things I listened to and books, I read, that's a quick background of my story. So
[00:04:56] Martin Boeddeker: [00:04:56] yeah I can relate a lot because like [00:05:00] the house where I'm right now here, like this nice little cottage you like.
[00:05:04] There's a fireplace over there. I was able to buy this from GrooveFunnels commissions as well. Like we, we used to buy this from my I bought this with my sister together, but I did not have the money. And so she paid for it, but now I bought the complete house from her. So for me, everything really well, like after, yeah, like after the promotion, like with Mike and the prey to Summit and then things were going pretty well with.
[00:05:29] Kartra I'm an affiliate for them as well, but yeah, when Groove funnels hit it was like a complete game changer because yeah the offer that Mike put together, like this was amazing and he hit like a hot market. They, and this is something that I want to talk about with you during this interview, because you have obviously access to all the numbers, all the yeah, all the numbers and.
[00:05:53] Connect with a lot of Affiliate. So where do you see are the big opportunities in generating [00:06:00] income with Groove funnels that yeah, new affiliates might be missing?
[00:06:03]Joe Jablonski: [00:06:03] Here's a few things. Currently now I think we have over 350,000 users and a lot of them are Free members. And then we have, I think 30 or 40 close to $40,000 paid members.
[00:06:16] Now here's the thing you can start your business with. GrooveSell you get it to have, put a Product up, something like that. And you also have Groove pages, Lite you get a Groove card, which is like Shopify to have your own e-commerce store. You could either use GroovePages to start making money get, create websites and get traffic and stuff like that.
[00:06:36] But if you also want to be an Affiliate you go from 20% commissions up to 40%, once you become upgrade Member. And I was just talking to June lo she didn't get right involved. She was doing something else, but I was always helping her mentoring her. But she finally clicked because also she got a sale for Groove and it was only 20%.
[00:06:56] So she made like $279. And I say, [00:07:00] do you know if you would have been upgraded Member you would get over $500 commission. And then she's don't have the money right yet. So she started doing, and then she got another sale. No, not sell. And she's Oh my God, I got to upgrade now. So she upgraded.
[00:07:15] To the upgrade package she has liked on now. And then she started getting 40%. Now. She, I think she got, yeah, I do. I'm sure. Over 10 to 20 Sales already, but it all you need is three Sales and you pay for your Groove funnels, the life. You don't never have to pay for a page, build a website builder Groove webinar, mail, GrooveSell all those things that come in the suite.
[00:07:40] It's lifetime. It's a no brainer. With the with the software I was using, you mentioned Kartra I used Kartra, there was the other page builder. I don't want to, say all of these names, but I was paying one 99 a month for three years. That's over $7,000 that I spent. And I really didn't make the money back because of this [00:08:00] glitch, that glitch and everything like that.
[00:08:01] But now a group of people are people making money. They don't use any Groove and Andy getting, becoming Affiliate, which they're making. Some of our affiliates on the average can make 5,000 to $10,000 a month of just getting affiliates. And then when you build the army below you, you say you get a good Affiliate, you start getting 10% of everything they're doing.
[00:08:26] Some people are making more money. By building their Groove army on the neath them, then they're doing a regular Sales for instance, Mike long. Has Bob Proctor, Nick Ponti Joel was it Joel about no Barry Pascal Mike long is making six figures, five figures a month.
[00:08:43] He's probably close to six figures a month from tier two. Not even selling it to new people. It's just incredible. The opportunity that people can make. Not only you might not be an Affiliate, but if you find someone who is a motivator and influencer that could sell it, you can make more [00:09:00] money on that.
[00:09:00] Tier two. If you're not the person. So the
[00:09:03] Martin Boeddeker: [00:09:03] way I see it especially when GrooveFunnels lounge, there was like I think it's still on the website or like this video about exponential growth. And a lot of people really saw like the people who were paying like. One 99 or two $99 per month. And yeah, this is really expensive.
[00:09:21] It really adds up. It's really hard to make that back in Sales if you're just starting out and what GrooveFunnels really provides for me is like in the beginning. Yeah. Like the people who are having this. A table Russia. And like it's all really crazy about it. I've seen this with my numbers right now.
[00:09:39] Things seem to have more, more stabilized now. And now it's really back to, yeah, just doing the groundwork, talking to people. One-on-one convincing them, telling them yeah. Just basically what you just taught us because in my experience, it's. It takes time when you built a brand, when you bought the business and yet this $200 per month [00:10:00] really add up and you get everything with GrooveFunnels for life.
[00:10:03] That means even if you're just trying to build a site income, you pay for it once. And then maybe even if you do not have a couple of months to work on your business, it's every thing is still there. You do not have any financial pressure you can take All. Yeah. Again, on. Where you're left basically.
[00:10:21] And that's why I think GrooveFunnels is so amazing and the offer so amazing.
[00:10:25] Joe Jablonski: [00:10:25] Oh, absolutely. And then to add on to that even if you don't get a lifetime, even if you go the trial, you can take a 14 day trial, try it out, and then you pay a three payments. It might be four 97 a month, I believe at this time and things can change.
[00:10:40] So don't, if you watch this video later and if you didn't get in, it could go off. But even if you're paying the, a yearly, I think it's on the $200 a month and you pay for one year and you had done the lifetime. So if your budget, you can't pay it all upfront that 1397, then take a three time [00:11:00] payment or take the six payment plan or the 12 month payment plan, because in one year or six months you're done.
[00:11:06] And if you could get one person a month, it's going to pay for itself. It's just one sec. I think my battery's about to go dead. I just got to plug in my battery. Let's see. I'm sorry. Excuse me. One second. I'm sorry about that.
[00:11:26] All. All right. I'm sorry. I had to plug in my computer is about to go dead. I didn't realize is it plugged in? Yes, it's charging. All right. I got this. Lite from Window here was a, what was I saying? Oh yeah, if you even take the monthly or the six months or something like that, you could always make that money back, getting a few people a month or even using software where you can start building your products or even GrooveMail you start building a list.
[00:11:49] The money is in the list. You can sell products, build a list and then educate those people and then sell them in the future. Like you're doing, you're building a list. You build a Facebook [00:12:00] page. It's I'm just so happy to see you succeeding so well. And I believe we pay you a lot monthly, we're paying over $500,000 a week right now, commissions, and I see Martin Boeddeker come up.
[00:12:16] We send you 10,000 here, 20,000 there. You're doing awesome. You're taking action. And last year you weren't
[00:12:24] Martin Boeddeker: [00:12:24] doing it. One question that I have for you you mentioned Mike Long and June law and but like I think these people were already learning for a couple of years or Mike long has been in industry for four decades, basically.
[00:12:37]And that's why he, I believe he is so successful, but for four, if you take new affiliates, new beginner affiliates who do not have a list, like what are the strategies that you see them succeed with?
[00:12:48]Joe Jablonski: [00:12:48] I would definitely say get a mentor whether whether it be you Mo Martin or someone in the Groove there's a lot of opportunity for these new people.
[00:12:56]Either David Lemon here's an example for someone who is, [00:13:00] he was pretty new. But he just started giving, he started learning how to do GroovePages and he jumped in and just started making videos for the group saying, I do this, do that. We weren't paying him. He wasn't getting paid for it.
[00:13:12] He was just giving his time, helping people. And next thing you know, it people started coming to him and say, Hey, can I hire you? If you learn how to do. Become the best in it, whether it be GrooveMail GrooveSell GroovePages GrooveKart Groove when they come out, be the best you can and you train people, you can make money that way, or you can make money, selling it.
[00:13:34] But we actually hired David Lemon because we saw it as a given so much value. We're like, Hey, can you work for us? He is a person who was just giving his time and now we're paying him. So if you're new. You learn something, grab a mentor, get involved with our groups. We have Martin you do daily training.
[00:13:56] You have a Facebook group that you have training in it. We have [00:14:00] training every week. We have training like two or three times a week with different people. Simon Leung young is helping the affiliates. I do some training. We actually have an a course coming out in late December and we also have magazine coming out.
[00:14:11] We want to educate you. We want to give you training. We do weekly training on Groove Digital presents. We have a new speaker, come on. Who who does like an hour of training and then they might sell their course. Yes. A lot of people say, Oh, they're just going to pitch to us. They're going to sell. But they do an hour of training before they give you an aha moment or say, this niche might not be for you.
[00:14:32] So say in the future if you speak on Groove Digital presents, Martin not, everyone's going to relate to your natural what you're doing, but you might help some people. And if you have a program after that, you're going to sell, then they be, you become their mentor and they're going to be success successful because.
[00:14:49] You're successful for what you did. Like you said, you were you're renting and now you, you bought the place. I was renting for six years in Florida. I always owned the house in New York, but my income could not pay [00:15:00] for a house. I had no money, working nights, Ubering and doing everything I had to do.
[00:15:05] But now I bought a house because of Groove changed my life because I'm helping people like you June low. I get on six calls a day. I just had an hour call with you. Now I have an hour after you. I'm trying to help as many people as I can. And it helps me. It all comes back and the Groove community.
[00:15:23] Unbelievable. Where else can you see everyone helping each other? Usee you're trying to get the sale. You're trying to do it, but the community they're all helping each other. They, and it's such a great community. Did you go in and you chime in and you say, Hey, how do you do this? Martin Johnson.
[00:15:41] This is how you do this. This is how you do this. This is the mistakes I made. Martin you just keep on giving your time. You're just a lot of people that you like you June though, is doing the same thing. My, a lot of people in the community doing it, but you can see the successful people that are taking action.
[00:16:00] [00:15:59] Not complaining. You have to learn it, and read books. Awaken the giant within changed my whole life in 1998, three feet from gold thinking grow rich. I listened to motivational tapes every morning, or I go on YouTube. I listen to Tony Robbins I listened to Bob Product. I listened to Brian, Tracy, Jim Rowan.
[00:16:18]So many motivational people out there. Even my mentor, even getting on a phone call with Mike Filsaime for half hour motivates me get, find a mentor, get on it. Ask people questions. You can even get a call with me. Martin if anyone's watching this and you want to do a three way call with your action takers, your top students let's hook up a three-way call.
[00:16:41] And I'll get on it. My time is limited because like I said, we're growing at 2000 members a day. So my time is very limited, but I want to give as much time as I can. So if I could
[00:16:52] Martin Boeddeker: [00:16:52] get some from what I've experienced and especially from Mike, Filsaime who taught me? Yeah. Martin, it's all about abundance.
[00:16:59] And this [00:17:00] is really the DNA of your company. And especially with this new movement that you're creating, like there's so much. Positive energy everybody's so enter the aesthetic and really wants to help everybody. And especially during this crisis that we are still in like I, I think it's such an amazing opportunity.
[00:17:18] And even though like I sell, when I use GrooveFunnels, sometimes there are still some bags, but yeah. That's because the software is in beta and as. Hello as we get closer to when your turn to monthly subscriptions and more valuable, the software will become because it's much more usable right now.
[00:17:34] GrooveKon, Groove GrooveMail is in beta and and things like this. So it's already enough to build your whole online presence. You have to find some workarounds, but yeah, you mentioned David, Lemon he's doing amazing trainings of how to. To sell your products. And this is something that I will talk in my Groove Digital presented, like in, in the beginning, it's you have to really like yeah.
[00:17:57] Work with real people. Like I, what I really [00:18:00] like about your companies that you use your own software, even though it was like much more beta in the beginning you used it to sell, like All yeah. All the licenses, all, everything. Like you used a bare bones GrooveSell in the beginning and I GroovePages.
[00:18:14] And in the end it was really about, yeah, Mike being there and people trusting Mike because of his experience with past companies and in the end, if people want to succeed, they also have to build this know like, and trust. And if people trust you and you recommend GrooveFunnels to them, if they trust you, and it's an amazing offer it's one of the easiest sales that you can make.
[00:18:37] Joe Jablonski: [00:18:37] Yeah. Oh, absolutely. I was talking to June lo in a previous interview I was doing, it's a no brainer. And we're all here to help you. We got Martin who is incredible and you could see his, your story, right? You have your own story right there. How you became successful. You've done other Affiliate programs.
[00:18:59] But [00:19:00] now lot of people are Rapid themselves. It's all Groove. We have we have even have a Groove store where you can buy Groove merchandise and stuff like that. We're, we are so excited with. Trying to help everybody, we can, we're not making as much money right now because all our money's going back into development.
[00:19:15]Yeah, we'll make it a little money. Of course. We have to, but we're not a lot more money is going back into high, more devs, mine, hiring more support. And we know there's bugs and we know support is not 100% there, but we're growing together with the community and trying to help you as best we can.
[00:19:36]We have, mentors like yourself and other people helping their members So it's an incredible opportunity and a community that is everyone's helping each other. That's what I love behind it. It's just it's. So at Simon when people are like totally rather on Groove we had one of the Affiliate it's actually, you saw how we Tuan he actually put a G in his head, he had a buzz of a geo and it said [00:20:00] we actually gave him a G Lite, for that.
[00:20:02] So yeah, wrapping around. He said he changed his life. The beauty, what I like is when I get an email or a phone call or texting, Groove changed their life. It changed your life. It changed my life. Angie Norris is a big one. She was in a corporate world where she lost her job and she was struggling online and her husband didn't even really want to do it online.
[00:20:23] It's you got to go get a job COVID hit. And here's a person that started in Mo Angie started in may. No. It may actually. And we actually had on Groove Digital presents because she was doing so well. I said, tell you a story, have a weapon. And she's never did ask him, make a PowerPoint.
[00:20:40] So I tell you a story, keep a journal. And she was making $10,000 a month. And now because she was on Groove Digital presents, I think she's going to hit a half. She might even hit it. And over $400,000 in sales between commissions and her Course. So he a person, Didn't know what to do and COVID hit and [00:21:00] it not only did we help.
[00:21:01] And, she came to New York to Florida. She gave me this big hug and she goes, you changed my life, change everything about it. She said none of that, she's helping family members and friends she's she needed to hire support. She needed to hire an assistant. You need to hire an accountant.
[00:21:18]Not only are we helping her now? She we're helping her people and our family. It's just, and I'm sure you're hard people, so we're helping more than just you. Oh, not yet. You're still doing this on yourself. Oh my God. That must be overwhelming. I know. I can't handle it. I had to hire an assistant.
[00:21:35] I actually hired my wife to do Groove in hired her because we got so big. She does accounting. So she'd do the wires and stuff like that, but she helps me to pay affiliates. It's just a great community. People helping each other for newbies, you gotta take action. You have to jump in. You have to educate yourself.
[00:21:54] You have to find a mentor or partner to help you. It's just. I is not going to [00:22:00] do it. It's gotta be a we, and that's the whole thing about Groove where it's not, Oh, I did this. I D it's we it's. Use the team, there's no Inc. And they they always say, read good books, motivate yourself, get a mentor, get a partner, take action.
[00:22:14] If you don't know how to do it, watch our training. Watch Martin's training. Find out. You have to align yourself with the people who are successful. And I've told this to my nephews, my nieces, anybody and some people don't like me for it. And they're like, Oh, get off your high horse. You have to align yourself with the right people.
[00:22:34]I aligned myself with Mike Filsaime 30 years ago. Look at me now it took, it's not an overnight success and someone said it and I forgot exactly who quoted it. Might've I don't want to quote the wrong person, but they said you become your average of the six closest friends, or it might be five closest friends.
[00:22:50] So if they're successful, you're going to become successful. If you follow what they do, if you hang around a bunch of people drinking, partying being negative, complaining about it and [00:23:00] making reasons for why you're not successful and blaming all the people for not being successful. You're not going to be successful.
[00:23:06]I asked my daughter a 14 year old daughter the other day and I, her, I go you do you want to be a millionaire one day? And she goes, no. I said, will you be a millionaire, something along those lines? You'll be a millionaire. And she actually said, no, So here I am thinking she's never going to be a millionaire because if she's saying no, I'm not going to be, you're not going to be.
[00:23:29] So I said, then I rephrase. I was like, would you like to be a millionaire one day? She goes, Oh, absolutely. Who wouldn't want to do so I then when I said when I asked you, are you going to be a millionaire one day? You want to be a millionaire? And she's don't know. It doesn't really matter to me as long as I'm happy.
[00:23:44] Yes. That works. But. But when, you have to set yourself to goals, not everyone's going to be a millionaire. I don't know if I'm going to get there. I probably will because I know I will. Have I made millions over the years? Yes. Am I a millionaire right now? No. Will I get there? [00:24:00] Yes, I will. But you have to put it out there and surround yourself with the right people.
[00:24:06] Martin Boeddeker: [00:24:06] Absolutely. And it's absolutely the same for me. I've bought like one of in pagans programs back in the days and like outlining from him. And it took me a couple of years and a lot of different tries, like getting up a website, buying a domain, getting started, then abandoning the project trying something different.
[00:24:25] And sometimes it's really about just doing it again and again, and it's part of the life of the entrepreneur. But once you get. They are, and to have the freedom meant you have a job that that you really like. And I obviously I see it in your face, the way you smile how you like to help people.
[00:24:41] And it's the same for me. I like if I have the feeling, I can help people, but in the end it really comes down to taking action. Like that leads me to one of my last questions is like, what is a mistake that costs a lot of Groove stars, a lot of time and wasted effort when they're starting out.
[00:24:59]What the, what, the [00:25:00] biggest mistake that people make when they're new to this whole Groove universe,
[00:25:04] Joe Jablonski: [00:25:04] they overwhelm themselves. They buy too many programs. Here, if you watch a Groove Digital present, or are you going to email through this? You can make money overnight. It's just putting your mindset.
[00:25:16] There is no overnight success. There might be. And they're like, Oh, GroovePages they became an overt. No, we've been working on this for years and years. Mike's been working on since 2006. This was his vision in 2018. We only started out with Groove card. It was just the beginning. It took us two and a half years to get where we are right now.
[00:25:37] You got to realize it's not an overnight success. Don't overwhelm yourself. Take day by day. Don't blame it on this COVID thing. Cause last year, I don't know if you remember this Martin in 2019. We launched GroovePages it was on no, it was a horror. We bombed, it was nobody showing up.
[00:25:53] It was in December of 2019. We were like, Oh my God, we're dead in the water. We have to [00:26:00] get rid of this everything. It was a mess, a complete mess. So we like, you have to adapt. Okay, this didn't work. That was our mistake. We launched in December, which wasn't the right time we launched GroovePages but it wasn't ready.
[00:26:11] It was in beta. So people weren't ready to pay monthly for something that it's embedded. Why would they want this? So we decided to do a launch of GrooveSell self one 99. And this is COVID thing hit. We didn't say, Oh, let's still do this. And. We had to adapt. You have to adapt. You can't say, Oh, this COVID ruined my business.
[00:26:31] Okay. What can you make different? What can you do different? So we decided to give a funnel of free, give away, free stuff, give away something to get into your funnel. And then once they get into your funnel, everything goes into this big gold pot on the bottom where you can educate people, coaching, give a product, sell something, anything, but get them into your funnel.
[00:26:52]The biggest, I know you say mistakes is it? It's grown too fast. Sometimes a mistake overwhelming itself, buying too many [00:27:00] products, focus on one project at a time. If you don't, it looks weird. What if you focus on one project, you will get it done. If you have one project and then you start another project, now you have two projects going, then you start another project.
[00:27:14] Three. You're never going to get that first project done. And I Mike taught this years ago and sometimes he does it. Now we have so many projects going on, but if you focus on one project at a time, that's a big mistake. People do. They try to do too many things. They start a project and then Oh my God, I have an aha moment.
[00:27:30] Let's do this. And then they have another hallmark and that now they have three things going on. Guess what? None of them get done, focus on one thing at a time. And the biggest thing is focus on yourself that self-development. And I go get back to the read books, motivate yourself, find a mentor. You got to educate yourself.
[00:27:50] You have to focus on yourself. His people, here's an example. People wait, you have to adapt to the times. All right, 70 year old people you know [00:28:00] that also they have a music store. They give private lessons, they sell from their store. COVID hit. They can't have people coming in store they're 70 years old.
[00:28:08] They don't, they're afraid of it because it affects the elderly more than someone who is very healthy. Health is not only take care of yourself. So they call me up and they started talking about it. They got through somebody and they called me up out of the blue. I got an email, so I got on the phone with them.
[00:28:24] They said, Joe, I just want to thank you. And Groove, I'm like, Whoa, who is this? And she said, we're 73 years old. My husband is 75. We own a music store. And everything ended with Colvin. She goes we look for an alternative. We couldn't find it. It was so much, it was so hard. They came across GrooveFunnels over the summer, they opened up a website, they opened up a Groove store.
[00:28:48] The GrooveKart they're doing that now. They're doing GrooveMail. They started selling everything from them music store. They started doing online music lessons. They started selling they started doing a [00:29:00] video thing. On their websites of doing virtual, lessons to people. And they said, Groove, GrooveFunnels changed the whole life.
[00:29:08] They could actually travel, or stay at home safely. The business actually went up, they're selling so much stuff online. They may not have that. He is 70 years old people. They didn't just quit and say, Oh my God. And then, sometimes when I walk into a store like Walmart or a department store, or I don't know what you have by you, there might be Kmart, Walmart target, any kind of store.
[00:29:33] And you see these old people that must be near 70 eighties working at the register at a food market. And because they don't have a retirement and they have nothing in, GrooveFunnels changing that for a lot of people. And like I said, I was rented for six years. Groove changed my life. I'm actually living in a house and I'm paying my bills.
[00:29:53] I'm not behind. It's just, it can change a lot and it didn't happen overnight because of what I keep giving and [00:30:00] reading and motivate myself. So a big mistake is getting up in the morning. And being negative, be positive. When you wake up, listen to positive stuff, read positive stuff, getting get with Martin.
[00:30:13] He's a mentor he's made success happen for him. It didn't happen overnight. It wasn't something that said, Hey, I'm on his. Groove make it work. No, he took action. And the biggest mistake. Is people not taking action, put it on your board, say list things that you want, give a top 10 saying your vision board or your goals or something like that.
[00:30:35]When I w
[00:30:36] Martin Boeddeker: [00:30:36] when I was in that, there, there are some really amazing exercises. And I cover some of them in my book Lite which is on Amazon. But in the end it really comes down to you taking action and then yeah going with it. And I think there's so much opportunity. And especially like a crisis is always also opportunity for a lot of people.
[00:30:57] And especially like with things going more digital. Like [00:31:00] we, we are still in a everything is still growing online and yeah, if you can carve out your spot even if you have to maintain your full-time job, it's you will get there eventually, if you. Keep edit and just do it like you are on Mike date when your lounge fail.
[00:31:15] Like you did not put your head in the sand, like you, you recover like more quickly than I've ever seen. And I will probably do a couple of podcast episodes just about this, like a B, because I experienced this life because after the live call, like after the coaching I got with Mike, I was following really closely.
[00:31:32] And what he did is you also just. It takes action. Like he was he shared this on the webinars where he was basically alone after he left the Kartra no company, no, no employees. You still kept his business running, kept everything super lean. But yeah, he built this expertise and out of this expertise then launched what is now GrooveFunnels.

There are multi, how many people in the world, billions and we're only in thousands for a group. So don't think you're getting in late. This is still the first year with, like I said, we're over 300,000 members right now.
[00:33:35] We are going to be over a million in 2021, 2022. We might have 2 million. So now is the right time to get in. Help other people get well known in the community and you'll be one of the authority figures like Martin is, at a more, it says, Hey who's a good mentor? Who should I follow? I give out a few people.
[00:33:56]I definitely say mine and not to get off subject, but there's so many [00:34:00] people like Angie and Mike Long and all those people are successful. So follow them. Look what they're doing, especially get involved with Martin you, you have coaching, you have a book. Yes. It's the best investment you can make in yourself and following a mentor like Martin, it's just, I'm just so excited for you that you have come so far since I first talked to you.
[00:34:23] Months ago. You're like, ask me questions. Active my questions. But you took action. You take what we say. You're like, all right, what's my game plan. This is what I'm going to do. And it's just, I love what you're doing. And I love how many people you're helping it. Just, you're doing so much for the community and I appreciate you.

What we're doing here right now, I will ask you some tough questions about the Groove Affiliate program, how other people can be successful with the with the Groove affiliate program. And I hope you will share some behind the scenes insights with [00:01:00] us. I'm really excited before we dive into.
[00:01:03] Deep dive deep, dive into everything. Can you give some, give us a little bit about your background, how you ended up working with Mike Filsaime and Groove Digital
[00:01:14] Joe Jablonski: [00:01:14] all right. Quick background. I don't know how quick you got a few hours. Really quick thing is I met Mike Filsaime 30 years ago. So we've been very close friends.
[00:01:22]I got involved with him. No, we were in car sales got involved with Mike online in 2006. He asked me to come work with him. I didn't know what a domain was. I didn't know what a website was. And I got involved 2006 working with Mike Filsaime. From there that 2006 site. So it almost took us almost 10 years.
[00:01:43] We actually 2018, we started the whole group thing. We went, had our ups and downs. And who is Joe J someone that, Sales I'm trying to think real brief, give you a briefing on me. We got on, I got him involved with Mike 20 [00:02:00] 2006 and 2018. We started the group. But in that time I've gone through, it's not an overnight success and don't think, Oh, I always had the life and everything like that.
[00:02:11] I moved in 2014 to Florida from New York. I didn't have any money. The house I was buying when I was moving to Florida, didn't work through. So I was driving to Florida with my family, all our furniture and no way to live. I had to come to new Florida. And then I was working for a company Mike Filsaime was in and he had a partner and it was Kartra and I was like, go from Kartra.
[00:02:34] I didn't get along with one of the owners. I Andy Jenkins. And here I am, I just moved to Florida. I've been here like four months. I had no job. No money coming in and my wife was doing some, accounting, but I had to do anything I had to sell on Amazon. I sold on eBay and I was doing Ubering at night just to get by.
[00:02:55] So doing that, and then two years later, Things were still struggling. It was [00:03:00] 2016. I had a knock on my door from the sheriff saying that I had to move because I was the behind on my rent. So I just want to let people know I was in the same show. There's a lot of people were I had no way to live.
[00:03:12] I, I had, I was getting kicked out of my home. So from there in 2016, I had to buy, I actually wound up. Again, some friends and moving to another house that I had to rent and we started building and I saw it again with Mike and we started building things up. And then in 2018 we started a group and things started getting better and better.
[00:03:34] And I'm still doing Ubering. I'm still doing E-bay. I'm still doing Amazon. I'm actually. Packaging things up. I do a lot of diversity even though Groove is doing great. I still like extra money. It's found money. I just do a lot of things. So after that, now I've been in Florida six years. It's 2020, COVID hit, everyone's struggling.
[00:03:54] And then Groove is going up. I was actually able to buy my first house in [00:04:00] Florida. I've been renting for six years. I actually, I bought a new house. Not, it's not a new house, but it's new to me. I was able to get it, a house with, extra bedroom for my mom to stay at. I got a pool. What did you Cousy?
[00:04:11] I got a nice backyard. I got the Palm trees, everything, but I worked hard to get here. That's my background. It's not something that happened overnight is always struggles, but because of taking action and what I do is I read a lot of books. I and the best book I would have say three of my best books is thinking grow rich, which I read twice a year, maybe three times awaken the giant within, which changed my life in 1988, 98, and now three feet from gold, which I read a few years ago.
[00:04:43] And I said, I'm three feet from that. Now I'm actually hitting the gold. I'm hitting the Groove gold and it's all because of motivational things I listened to and books, I read, that's a quick background of my story. So
[00:04:56] Martin Boeddeker: [00:04:56] yeah I can relate a lot because like [00:05:00] the house where I'm right now here, like this nice little cottage you like.
[00:05:04] There's a fireplace over there. I was able to buy this from GrooveFunnels commissions as well. Like we, we used to buy this from my I bought this with my sister together, but I did not have the money. And so she paid for it, but now I bought the complete house from her. So for me, everything really well, like after, yeah, like after the promotion, like with Mike and the prey to Summit and then things were going pretty well with.
[00:05:29] Kartra I'm an affiliate for them as well, but yeah, when Groove funnels hit it was like a complete game changer because yeah the offer that Mike put together, like this was amazing and he hit like a hot market. They, and this is something that I want to talk about with you during this interview, because you have obviously access to all the numbers, all the yeah, all the numbers and.
[00:05:53] Connect with a lot of Affiliate. So where do you see are the big opportunities in generating [00:06:00] income with Groove funnels that yeah, new affiliates might be missing?
[00:06:03]Joe Jablonski: [00:06:03] Here's a few things. Currently now I think we have over 350,000 users and a lot of them are Free members. And then we have, I think 30 or 40 close to $40,000 paid members.
[00:06:16] Now here's the thing you can start your business with. GrooveSell you get it to have, put a Product up, something like that. And you also have Groove pages, Lite you get a Groove card, which is like Shopify to have your own e-commerce store. You could either use GroovePages to start making money get, create websites and get traffic and stuff like that.
[00:06:36] But if you also want to be an Affiliate you go from 20% commissions up to 40%, once you become upgrade Member. And I was just talking to June lo she didn't get right involved. She was doing something else, but I was always helping her mentoring her. But she finally clicked because also she got a sale for Groove and it was only 20%.
[00:06:56] So she made like $279. And I say, [00:07:00] do you know if you would have been upgraded Member you would get over $500 commission. And then she's don't have the money right yet. So she started doing, and then she got another sale. No, not sell. And she's Oh my God, I got to upgrade now. So she upgraded.
[00:07:15] To the upgrade package she has liked on now. And then she started getting 40%. Now. She, I think she got, yeah, I do. I'm sure. Over 10 to 20 Sales already, but it all you need is three Sales and you pay for your Groove funnels, the life. You don't never have to pay for a page, build a website builder Groove webinar, mail, GrooveSell all those things that come in the suite.
[00:07:40] It's lifetime. It's a no brainer. With the with the software I was using, you mentioned Kartra I used Kartra, there was the other page builder. I don't want to, say all of these names, but I was paying one 99 a month for three years. That's over $7,000 that I spent. And I really didn't make the money back because of this [00:08:00] glitch, that glitch and everything like that.
[00:08:01] But now a group of people are people making money. They don't use any Groove and Andy getting, becoming Affiliate, which they're making. Some of our affiliates on the average can make 5,000 to $10,000 a month of just getting affiliates. And then when you build the army below you, you say you get a good Affiliate, you start getting 10% of everything they're doing.
[00:08:26] Some people are making more money. By building their Groove army on the neath them, then they're doing a regular Sales for instance, Mike long. Has Bob Proctor, Nick Ponti Joel was it Joel about no Barry Pascal Mike long is making six figures, five figures a month.
[00:08:43] He's probably close to six figures a month from tier two. Not even selling it to new people. It's just incredible. The opportunity that people can make. Not only you might not be an Affiliate, but if you find someone who is a motivator and influencer that could sell it, you can make more [00:09:00] money on that.
[00:09:00] Tier two. If you're not the person. So the
[00:09:03] Martin Boeddeker: [00:09:03] way I see it especially when GrooveFunnels lounge, there was like I think it's still on the website or like this video about exponential growth. And a lot of people really saw like the people who were paying like. One 99 or two $99 per month. And yeah, this is really expensive.
[00:09:21] It really adds up. It's really hard to make that back in Sales if you're just starting out and what GrooveFunnels really provides for me is like in the beginning. Yeah. Like the people who are having this. A table Russia. And like it's all really crazy about it. I've seen this with my numbers right now.
[00:09:39] Things seem to have more, more stabilized now. And now it's really back to, yeah, just doing the groundwork, talking to people. One-on-one convincing them, telling them yeah. Just basically what you just taught us because in my experience, it's. It takes time when you built a brand, when you bought the business and yet this $200 per month [00:10:00] really add up and you get everything with GrooveFunnels for life.
[00:10:03] That means even if you're just trying to build a site income, you pay for it once. And then maybe even if you do not have a couple of months to work on your business, it's every thing is still there. You do not have any financial pressure you can take All. Yeah. Again, on. Where you're left basically.
[00:10:21] And that's why I think GrooveFunnels is so amazing and the offer so amazing.
[00:10:25] Joe Jablonski: [00:10:25] Oh, absolutely. And then to add on to that even if you don't get a lifetime, even if you go the trial, you can take a 14 day trial, try it out, and then you pay a three payments. It might be four 97 a month, I believe at this time and things can change.
[00:10:40] So don't, if you watch this video later and if you didn't get in, it could go off. But even if you're paying the, a yearly, I think it's on the $200 a month and you pay for one year and you had done the lifetime. So if your budget, you can't pay it all upfront that 1397, then take a three time [00:11:00] payment or take the six payment plan or the 12 month payment plan, because in one year or six months you're done.
[00:11:06] And if you could get one person a month, it's going to pay for itself. It's just one sec. I think my battery's about to go dead. I just got to plug in my battery. Let's see. I'm sorry. Excuse me. One second. I'm sorry about that.
[00:11:26] All. All right. I'm sorry. I had to plug in my computer is about to go dead. I didn't realize is it plugged in? Yes, it's charging. All right. I got this. Lite from Window here was a, what was I saying? Oh yeah, if you even take the monthly or the six months or something like that, you could always make that money back, getting a few people a month or even using software where you can start building your products or even GrooveMail you start building a list.
[00:11:49] The money is in the list. You can sell products, build a list and then educate those people and then sell them in the future. Like you're doing, you're building a list. You build a Facebook [00:12:00] page. It's I'm just so happy to see you succeeding so well. And I believe we pay you a lot monthly, we're paying over $500,000 a week right now, commissions, and I see Martin Boeddeker come up.
[00:12:16] We send you 10,000 here, 20,000 there. You're doing awesome. You're taking action. And last year you weren't
[00:12:24] Martin Boeddeker: [00:12:24] doing it. One question that I have for you you mentioned Mike Long and June law and but like I think these people were already learning for a couple of years or Mike long has been in industry for four decades, basically.
[00:12:37]And that's why he, I believe he is so successful, but for four, if you take new affiliates, new beginner affiliates who do not have a list, like what are the strategies that you see them succeed with?
[00:12:48]Joe Jablonski: [00:12:48] I would definitely say get a mentor whether whether it be you Mo Martin or someone in the Groove there's a lot of opportunity for these new people.
[00:12:56]Either David Lemon here's an example for someone who is, [00:13:00] he was pretty new. But he just started giving, he started learning how to do GroovePages and he jumped in and just started making videos for the group saying, I do this, do that. We weren't paying him. He wasn't getting paid for it.
[00:13:12] He was just giving his time, helping people. And next thing you know, it people started coming to him and say, Hey, can I hire you? If you learn how to do. Become the best in it, whether it be GrooveMail GrooveSell GroovePages GrooveKart Groove when they come out, be the best you can and you train people, you can make money that way, or you can make money, selling it.
[00:13:34] But we actually hired David Lemon because we saw it as a given so much value. We're like, Hey, can you work for us? He is a person who was just giving his time and now we're paying him. So if you're new. You learn something, grab a mentor, get involved with our groups. We have Martin you do daily training.
[00:13:56] You have a Facebook group that you have training in it. We have [00:14:00] training every week. We have training like two or three times a week with different people. Simon Leung young is helping the affiliates. I do some training. We actually have an a course coming out in late December and we also have magazine coming out.
[00:14:11] We want to educate you. We want to give you training. We do weekly training on Groove Digital presents. We have a new speaker, come on. Who who does like an hour of training and then they might sell their course. Yes. A lot of people say, Oh, they're just going to pitch to us. They're going to sell. But they do an hour of training before they give you an aha moment or say, this niche might not be for you.
[00:14:32] So say in the future if you speak on Groove Digital presents, Martin not, everyone's going to relate to your natural what you're doing, but you might help some people. And if you have a program after that, you're going to sell, then they be, you become their mentor and they're going to be success successful because.
[00:14:49] You're successful for what you did. Like you said, you were you're renting and now you, you bought the place. I was renting for six years in Florida. I always owned the house in New York, but my income could not pay [00:15:00] for a house. I had no money, working nights, Ubering and doing everything I had to do.
[00:15:05] But now I bought a house because of Groove changed my life because I'm helping people like you June low. I get on six calls a day. I just had an hour call with you. Now I have an hour after you. I'm trying to help as many people as I can. And it helps me. It all comes back and the Groove community.
[00:15:23] Unbelievable. Where else can you see everyone helping each other? Usee you're trying to get the sale. You're trying to do it, but the community they're all helping each other. They, and it's such a great community. Did you go in and you chime in and you say, Hey, how do you do this? Martin Johnson.
[00:15:41] This is how you do this. This is how you do this. This is the mistakes I made. Martin you just keep on giving your time. You're just a lot of people that you like you June though, is doing the same thing. My, a lot of people in the community doing it, but you can see the successful people that are taking action.
[00:16:00] [00:15:59] Not complaining. You have to learn it, and read books. Awaken the giant within changed my whole life in 1998, three feet from gold thinking grow rich. I listened to motivational tapes every morning, or I go on YouTube. I listen to Tony Robbins I listened to Bob Product. I listened to Brian, Tracy, Jim Rowan.
[00:16:18]So many motivational people out there. Even my mentor, even getting on a phone call with Mike Filsaime for half hour motivates me get, find a mentor, get on it. Ask people questions. You can even get a call with me. Martin if anyone's watching this and you want to do a three way call with your action takers, your top students let's hook up a three-way call.
[00:16:41] And I'll get on it. My time is limited because like I said, we're growing at 2000 members a day. So my time is very limited, but I want to give as much time as I can. So if I could
[00:16:52] Martin Boeddeker: [00:16:52] get some from what I've experienced and especially from Mike, Filsaime who taught me? Yeah. Martin, it's all about abundance.
[00:16:59] And this [00:17:00] is really the DNA of your company. And especially with this new movement that you're creating, like there's so much. Positive energy everybody's so enter the aesthetic and really wants to help everybody. And especially during this crisis that we are still in like I, I think it's such an amazing opportunity.
[00:17:18] And even though like I sell, when I use GrooveFunnels, sometimes there are still some bags, but yeah. That's because the software is in beta and as. Hello as we get closer to when your turn to monthly subscriptions and more valuable, the software will become because it's much more usable right now.
[00:17:34] GrooveKon, Groove GrooveMail is in beta and and things like this. So it's already enough to build your whole online presence. You have to find some workarounds, but yeah, you mentioned David, Lemon he's doing amazing trainings of how to. To sell your products. And this is something that I will talk in my Groove Digital presented, like in, in the beginning, it's you have to really like yeah.
[00:17:57] Work with real people. Like I, what I really [00:18:00] like about your companies that you use your own software, even though it was like much more beta in the beginning you used it to sell, like All yeah. All the licenses, all, everything. Like you used a bare bones GrooveSell in the beginning and I GroovePages.
[00:18:14] And in the end it was really about, yeah, Mike being there and people trusting Mike because of his experience with past companies and in the end, if people want to succeed, they also have to build this know like, and trust. And if people trust you and you recommend GrooveFunnels to them, if they trust you, and it's an amazing offer it's one of the easiest sales that you can make.
[00:18:37] Joe Jablonski: [00:18:37] Yeah. Oh, absolutely. I was talking to June lo in a previous interview I was doing, it's a no brainer. And we're all here to help you. We got Martin who is incredible and you could see his, your story, right? You have your own story right there. How you became successful. You've done other Affiliate programs.
[00:18:59] But [00:19:00] now lot of people are Rapid themselves. It's all Groove. We have we have even have a Groove store where you can buy Groove merchandise and stuff like that. We're, we are so excited with. Trying to help everybody, we can, we're not making as much money right now because all our money's going back into development.
[00:19:15]Yeah, we'll make it a little money. Of course. We have to, but we're not a lot more money is going back into high, more devs, mine, hiring more support. And we know there's bugs and we know support is not 100% there, but we're growing together with the community and trying to help you as best we can.
[00:19:36]We have, mentors like yourself and other people helping their members So it's an incredible opportunity and a community that is everyone's helping each other. That's what I love behind it. It's just it's. So at Simon when people are like totally rather on Groove we had one of the Affiliate it's actually, you saw how we Tuan he actually put a G in his head, he had a buzz of a geo and it said [00:20:00] we actually gave him a G Lite, for that.
[00:20:02] So yeah, wrapping around. He said he changed his life. The beauty, what I like is when I get an email or a phone call or texting, Groove changed their life. It changed your life. It changed my life. Angie Norris is a big one. She was in a corporate world where she lost her job and she was struggling online and her husband didn't even really want to do it online.
[00:20:23] It's you got to go get a job COVID hit. And here's a person that started in Mo Angie started in may. No. It may actually. And we actually had on Groove Digital presents because she was doing so well. I said, tell you a story, have a weapon. And she's never did ask him, make a PowerPoint.
[00:20:40] So I tell you a story, keep a journal. And she was making $10,000 a month. And now because she was on Groove Digital presents, I think she's going to hit a half. She might even hit it. And over $400,000 in sales between commissions and her Course. So he a person, Didn't know what to do and COVID hit and [00:21:00] it not only did we help.
[00:21:01] And, she came to New York to Florida. She gave me this big hug and she goes, you changed my life, change everything about it. She said none of that, she's helping family members and friends she's she needed to hire support. She needed to hire an assistant. You need to hire an accountant.
[00:21:18]Not only are we helping her now? She we're helping her people and our family. It's just, and I'm sure you're hard people, so we're helping more than just you. Oh, not yet. You're still doing this on yourself. Oh my God. That must be overwhelming. I know. I can't handle it. I had to hire an assistant.
[00:21:35] I actually hired my wife to do Groove in hired her because we got so big. She does accounting. So she'd do the wires and stuff like that, but she helps me to pay affiliates. It's just a great community. People helping each other for newbies, you gotta take action. You have to jump in. You have to educate yourself.
[00:21:54] You have to find a mentor or partner to help you. It's just. I is not going to [00:22:00] do it. It's gotta be a we, and that's the whole thing about Groove where it's not, Oh, I did this. I D it's we it's. Use the team, there's no Inc. And they they always say, read good books, motivate yourself, get a mentor, get a partner, take action.
[00:22:14] If you don't know how to do it, watch our training. Watch Martin's training. Find out. You have to align yourself with the people who are successful. And I've told this to my nephews, my nieces, anybody and some people don't like me for it. And they're like, Oh, get off your high horse. You have to align yourself with the right people.
[00:22:34]I aligned myself with Mike Filsaime 30 years ago. Look at me now it took, it's not an overnight success and someone said it and I forgot exactly who quoted it. Might've I don't want to quote the wrong person, but they said you become your average of the six closest friends, or it might be five closest friends.
[00:22:50] So if they're successful, you're going to become successful. If you follow what they do, if you hang around a bunch of people drinking, partying being negative, complaining about it and [00:23:00] making reasons for why you're not successful and blaming all the people for not being successful. You're not going to be successful.
[00:23:06]I asked my daughter a 14 year old daughter the other day and I, her, I go you do you want to be a millionaire one day? And she goes, no. I said, will you be a millionaire, something along those lines? You'll be a millionaire. And she actually said, no, So here I am thinking she's never going to be a millionaire because if she's saying no, I'm not going to be, you're not going to be.
[00:23:29] So I said, then I rephrase. I was like, would you like to be a millionaire one day? She goes, Oh, absolutely. Who wouldn't want to do so I then when I said when I asked you, are you going to be a millionaire one day? You want to be a millionaire? And she's don't know. It doesn't really matter to me as long as I'm happy.
[00:23:44] Yes. That works. But. But when, you have to set yourself to goals, not everyone's going to be a millionaire. I don't know if I'm going to get there. I probably will because I know I will. Have I made millions over the years? Yes. Am I a millionaire right now? No. Will I get there? [00:24:00] Yes, I will. But you have to put it out there and surround yourself with the right people.
[00:24:06] Martin Boeddeker: [00:24:06] Absolutely. And it's absolutely the same for me. I've bought like one of in pagans programs back in the days and like outlining from him. And it took me a couple of years and a lot of different tries, like getting up a website, buying a domain, getting started, then abandoning the project trying something different.
[00:24:25] And sometimes it's really about just doing it again and again, and it's part of the life of the entrepreneur. But once you get. They are, and to have the freedom meant you have a job that that you really like. And I obviously I see it in your face, the way you smile how you like to help people.
[00:24:41] And it's the same for me. I like if I have the feeling, I can help people, but in the end it really comes down to taking action. Like that leads me to one of my last questions is like, what is a mistake that costs a lot of Groove stars, a lot of time and wasted effort when they're starting out.
[00:24:59]What the, what, the [00:25:00] biggest mistake that people make when they're new to this whole Groove universe,
[00:25:04] Joe Jablonski: [00:25:04] they overwhelm themselves. They buy too many programs. Here, if you watch a Groove Digital present, or are you going to email through this? You can make money overnight. It's just putting your mindset.
[00:25:16] There is no overnight success. There might be. And they're like, Oh, GroovePages they became an overt. No, we've been working on this for years and years. Mike's been working on since 2006. This was his vision in 2018. We only started out with Groove card. It was just the beginning. It took us two and a half years to get where we are right now.
[00:25:37] You got to realize it's not an overnight success. Don't overwhelm yourself. Take day by day. Don't blame it on this COVID thing. Cause last year, I don't know if you remember this Martin in 2019. We launched GroovePages it was on no, it was a horror. We bombed, it was nobody showing up.
[00:25:53] It was in December of 2019. We were like, Oh my God, we're dead in the water. We have to [00:26:00] get rid of this everything. It was a mess, a complete mess. So we like, you have to adapt. Okay, this didn't work. That was our mistake. We launched in December, which wasn't the right time we launched GroovePages but it wasn't ready.
[00:26:11] It was in beta. So people weren't ready to pay monthly for something that it's embedded. Why would they want this? So we decided to do a launch of GrooveSell self one 99. And this is COVID thing hit. We didn't say, Oh, let's still do this. And. We had to adapt. You have to adapt. You can't say, Oh, this COVID ruined my business.
[00:26:31] Okay. What can you make different? What can you do different? So we decided to give a funnel of free, give away, free stuff, give away something to get into your funnel. And then once they get into your funnel, everything goes into this big gold pot on the bottom where you can educate people, coaching, give a product, sell something, anything, but get them into your funnel.
[00:26:52]The biggest, I know you say mistakes is it? It's grown too fast. Sometimes a mistake overwhelming itself, buying too many [00:27:00] products, focus on one project at a time. If you don't, it looks weird. What if you focus on one project, you will get it done. If you have one project and then you start another project, now you have two projects going, then you start another project.
[00:27:14] Three. You're never going to get that first project done. And I Mike taught this years ago and sometimes he does it. Now we have so many projects going on, but if you focus on one project at a time, that's a big mistake. People do. They try to do too many things. They start a project and then Oh my God, I have an aha moment.
[00:27:30] Let's do this. And then they have another hallmark and that now they have three things going on. Guess what? None of them get done, focus on one thing at a time. And the biggest thing is focus on yourself that self-development. And I go get back to the read books, motivate yourself, find a mentor. You got to educate yourself.
[00:27:50] You have to focus on yourself. His people, here's an example. People wait, you have to adapt to the times. All right, 70 year old people you know [00:28:00] that also they have a music store. They give private lessons, they sell from their store. COVID hit. They can't have people coming in store they're 70 years old.
[00:28:08] They don't, they're afraid of it because it affects the elderly more than someone who is very healthy. Health is not only take care of yourself. So they call me up and they started talking about it. They got through somebody and they called me up out of the blue. I got an email, so I got on the phone with them.
[00:28:24] They said, Joe, I just want to thank you. And Groove, I'm like, Whoa, who is this? And she said, we're 73 years old. My husband is 75. We own a music store. And everything ended with Colvin. She goes we look for an alternative. We couldn't find it. It was so much, it was so hard. They came across GrooveFunnels over the summer, they opened up a website, they opened up a Groove store.
[00:28:48] The GrooveKart they're doing that now. They're doing GrooveMail. They started selling everything from them music store. They started doing online music lessons. They started selling they started doing a [00:29:00] video thing. On their websites of doing virtual, lessons to people. And they said, Groove, GrooveFunnels changed the whole life.
[00:29:08] They could actually travel, or stay at home safely. The business actually went up, they're selling so much stuff online. They may not have that. He is 70 years old people. They didn't just quit and say, Oh my God. And then, sometimes when I walk into a store like Walmart or a department store, or I don't know what you have by you, there might be Kmart, Walmart target, any kind of store.
[00:29:33] And you see these old people that must be near 70 eighties working at the register at a food market. And because they don't have a retirement and they have nothing in, GrooveFunnels changing that for a lot of people. And like I said, I was rented for six years. Groove changed my life. I'm actually living in a house and I'm paying my bills.
[00:29:53] I'm not behind. It's just, it can change a lot and it didn't happen overnight because of what I keep giving and [00:30:00] reading and motivate myself. So a big mistake is getting up in the morning. And being negative, be positive. When you wake up, listen to positive stuff, read positive stuff, getting get with Martin.
[00:30:13] He's a mentor he's made success happen for him. It didn't happen overnight. It wasn't something that said, Hey, I'm on his. Groove make it work. No, he took action. And the biggest mistake. Is people not taking action, put it on your board, say list things that you want, give a top 10 saying your vision board or your goals or something like that.
[00:30:35]When I w
[00:30:36] Martin Boeddeker: [00:30:36] when I was in that, there, there are some really amazing exercises. And I cover some of them in my book Lite which is on Amazon. But in the end it really comes down to you taking action and then yeah going with it. And I think there's so much opportunity. And especially like a crisis is always also opportunity for a lot of people.
[00:30:57] And especially like with things going more digital. Like [00:31:00] we, we are still in a everything is still growing online and yeah, if you can carve out your spot even if you have to maintain your full-time job, it's you will get there eventually, if you. Keep edit and just do it like you are on Mike date when your lounge fail.
[00:31:15] Like you did not put your head in the sand, like you, you recover like more quickly than I've ever seen. And I will probably do a couple of podcast episodes just about this, like a B, because I experienced this life because after the live call, like after the coaching I got with Mike, I was following really closely.
[00:31:32] And what he did is you also just. It takes action. Like he was he shared this on the webinars where he was basically alone after he left the Kartra no company, no, no employees. You still kept his business running, kept everything super lean. But yeah, he built this expertise and out of this expertise then launched what is now GrooveFunnels.

[00:33:12]And let's make things happen. A lot of things coming in 2021 and don't think, Oh, it's too late. There's so many people that listen. There are multi, how many people in the world, billions and we're only in thousands for a group. So don't think you're getting in late. This is still the first year with, like I said, we're over 300,000 members right now.
[00:33:35] We are going to be over a million in 2021, 2022. We might have 2 million. So now is the right time to get in. Help other people get well known in the community and you'll be one of the authority figures like Martin is, at a more, it says, Hey who's a good mentor? Who should I follow? I give out a few people.
[00:33:56]I definitely say mine and not to get off subject, but there's so many [00:34:00] people like Angie and Mike Long and all those people are successful. So follow them. Look what they're doing, especially get involved with Martin you, you have coaching, you have a book. Yes. It's the best investment you can make in yourself and following a mentor like Martin, it's just, I'm just so excited for you that you have come so far since I first talked to you.
[00:34:23] Months ago. You're like, ask me questions. Active my questions. But you took action. You take what we say. You're like, all right, what's my game plan. This is what I'm going to do. And it's just, I love what you're doing. And I love how many people you're helping it. Just, you're doing so much for the community and I appreciate you.
