Ever seen Braveheart? Well, even if you missed that epic tale of overcoming tyranny, you don't have to miss out on the key themes it seared into the hearts and souls of many who watched it - that you can fight for your freedom and overcome the oppression and lies of those who insist on robbing you of it. (And, don't worry, I won't be quoting the movie in today's podcast).
This is true in life - both physically and spiritually. Today, we tackle the "spiritually".
God sent His son that we may have peace and know our worth. The freedom in Christ we can experience is one unparalleled by any other possible human experience on earth. Whether we are in a prison cell or sitting at our home making dinner... freedom is more than geography. It is about our spirit and soul living in peace and joy with the Creator of the Universe.
But, how do we experience freedom in Christ? And why is it so essential?
