Caitlin Metz (they/them) is an accidental author, wayward adjunct faculty, chronic project starter, designer and illustrator, parent, Mary Oliver evangelist, cloud watcher, and big feeler. Today, Abbie is joined by Caitlin Metz. To begin, Caitlin shares a little bit about who they are and what it means to them to create a “soft space” for people. Abbie and Caitlin discuss collaborating with our emotions; creating as a form of ritual, conversation, documentation, expression, and disruption; and finding perspective by asking ‘why?’. Caitlin and Abbie talk about the need to turn off autopilot and get intentional; “queerness as non-assumption;” and leaving room for many truths.
