Timbaland brought a new sound to the world in beat. Do you remember Aaliyah’s song, “ Are You That Somebody?” That beat was very different along with other sounds. helping the beat.
If you’re heard disco, that’s a certain kind of beat. Then there are 80’s dance track beats. There’s a Motown beat. There’s a Philadelphia sound &beat. Timbaland made his very own. He’s not just about the beat though. There are other sounds he made too. All kinds of sounds. I’m going to give you an example. Now this isn’t exactly Timbaland’s sound, but it’s based on his sound because I can’t keep up. He’s got a lot going on in music. Now listen to this. This is my way according to his way for an example. .. (playing music)
Do you remember Aaliyah’s song, Try Again? That’s how I made the example. When I heard Aaliyah’s “Try Again” that song made me her fan.
When I heard “Are You That Somebody” by Aaliyah, I thought , I have never heard a beat like that before. Aaliyah must have known what she was doing to work with Timbaland. They made a perfect combination.
Timbaland is a record producer. He produced for Aaliyah. He is a rapper, also singer, songwriter, and record executive. Not only did Timbaland producer for Aaliyah, he helped produce many albums for various artists.
