Jumanji 4’ in works, confirms actor Karen Gillan

Karen Gillan has confirmed that the fourth installment of Jumanji is still in the works, much to the excitement of fans. Director Jake Kasdan had announced the sequel in March 2020 after the success of Jumanji: The Next Level in 2019. However, due to the actors' unavailability and the 2023 strike, updates on the project have been scarce. The delay is understandable given the circumstances. Dwayne Johnson, busy with Disney's live-action Moana and his superhero debut in DC's Black Adam, will reprise his role as Dr. Xander. The cast also includes Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana Greenblatt, among others, making it challenging to coordinate schedules.
