While details about Jack Black's character in the Minecraft film remain elusive, it is clear that the project is attracting top-tier talent. The movie, set to begin production soon in New Zealand, features a stellar cast including Jason Momoa, Matt Berry, Emma Meyers, and Danielle Brooks. Minecraft's plot will follow the Ender Dragon's destructive path, prompting a young girl and her unlikely group of adventurers to save the Overworld. Directed by Jared Hess and produced by Legendary, Vertigo, and Mojang, the film is expected to hit theatres on April 4, 2025.
