In todays episode, Emie walks listeners through the practice and benefits of box breathing to calm anxiety and to reclaim calm.
- Sit upright with your feet on the ground or floor and shoulders squared
- Close your eyes
- Continually inhale through your nose for a slow 4 count
- Then hold that breath in your lungs & slowly count to 4 in your mind
- Then continually exhale for a slow mental 4 count
- Lastly, hold that emptiness for a 4 count
- Repeat 3-4 times in one sitting
