Today's inspiring guest, Lisa Towers, is an anxiety advocate and coach, and she's incredibly passionate about helping women to find freedom from living in fear of anxiety. She has traveled all over the UK, raising mental health awareness, appearing on TV and radio as part of the national campaign Time to Change and she has been awarded a British Empire Medal of the Queen honors for this voluntary work. She now runs Simply Anxious on Instagram, and she coaches women in campaigns to break the stigma around mental health.

  • How the things you don't want can actually help you
  • What you need to change first in order to heal
  • The symptoms of anxiety and how to know whether it's time to get support
  • How to recognise a good anxiety therapist

We have a choice in every moment of every day, and nothing holds any meaning until we give meaning to it. Instead of thinking you can't, think you can, and then give yourself the time and space to do the work to recover and change your story.
