Drawing from 1 Timothy 3:15, the church is described as "the pillar and ground of the truth." As members of God's church, believers are the foundation for truth in a world often dominated by lies and deception.
Jesus is identified as 'the truth' in John 14:6, which says that knowing Him leads to true freedom and deliverance from the bondage of lies. In John 8:31-32, Jesus says, "If you continue in my Word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." God's Word is a formidable weapon that exposes and destroys strongholds of deceit.
As guardians of truth, we are responsible for knowing, living, and sharing God's truth in a world desperately in need of its transformative power.
