Hey everyone! Welcome back to the More Than Enough Podcast! In today’s episode, we’re diving into something really close to home for all of us – the power of modeling. And no, we’re not talking about runways or toy trains! We’re talking about the way that behaviors, beliefs, and patterns modeled to us as kids shape our perspectives and lives, often without us even realizing

Today we open up about how we each experienced certain behaviors modeled in our childhoods and how those early experiences can stick with us. We chat about how, whether we want them to or not, these influences often become foundational, impacting our beliefs, relationships, and even how we view ourselves. I think of it as a sponge – whatever we were soaked in as kids tends to seep out in our adult lives, whether we like it or not.

But here’s the hope-filled part: just because something was modeled to us doesn’t mean we’re stuck with it forever. We talk about the ways we’ve learned to step back, acknowledge those patterns, and – most importantly – invite God into those areas to bring healing and transformation.

So, whether you’ve noticed certain behaviors or beliefs you’d rather not carry forward or you’re just starting to explore how your childhood shaped you, this episode is for you. We’re here to remind you that change is possible, healing is real, and God is ready to help you walk through the hardest parts. We pray that as you listen, you feel seen, supported, and encouraged to take steps toward freedom and transformation.

We hope these conversations encourage you to explore what’s been modeled to you and inspire you to create new patterns that bring more light, peace, and joy into your life. Remember, you are not defined by what was modeled to you – there’s always a new way forward.
