Quand j'annonce "Mopping" sur scène, j'entends généralement des gens ricaner dans le public. Pourtant, je ne rigolais pas du tout quand je devais faire le ménage par 38 °C, en août 1995 – j'avais alors 14 ans, j'écoutais Exile on Main St. et rêvais de la villa Nellcôte, ou de n'importe où ailleurs du moment que ce n'était pas chez mes parents (et qu'on ne m'obligeait pas à passer l'aspirateur).
C'est de tout cela dont il est question dans ma chanson à la mélodie fortement inspirée d'une démo des Stones nommée "Dancing in the Light".
