Cybershortwave December 24, 2000 Yes, you read correctly. 24 years ago! Our Christmas Eve program from the year 2000. Since it was a Christmas special, we put together a special show opening with Christmas oriented short clips. Dave opens the program by wishing all listeners a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Dave runs the chat room and says hello to those listeners in the chat room. The first tune is a Christmas song sung in the Dutch language (at the time our format was “world type music” songs from all over the world). The format was also directed to shortwave listeners and ham radio operators. Next tune is “Christmas in Australia” a tune the explains that it's summer at that time of year and it is HOT there. Next is “The Little Drummer Boy” sung in the French language. More shortwave information from listeners. After that we celebrate Christmas in Hawaii - Mele Kalikimaka!
