This week on the podcast, I talk to placentologist / nerd musician Dr. Jess F. Hebert about midwestern accents, crowdfunding, and why eating placenta meat might not be the best idea. We also talk about the merging of sciecne and art, and how performers like Tom Lehrer helped pave the way for irreverent, smart, transgressive music.
