The expectations around the VALUE supply chains deliver are accelerating despite ongoing volatility, disruption, and gridlock. We are all grappling with the impacts of the pandemic, global conflict, climate change, shifting channel, and product mixes as well as constraints on available talent.
As supply chain leaders, we must be prepared to navigate uncertainty and mitigate risk in an increasingly dynamic global market. Many of these challenges were discussed at the 2022 Gartner Supply Chain Symposium held in Orlando, Florida which is billed as “The World’s Most Important Gathering of CSCOs and Supply Chain Executives.” There were no silver bullets, but there were lots of fresh insights and inspirations.
