In this thought-provoking episode, join us as we, two admittedly white midwesterners who were Pre-K at the time of the event, nevertheless take a look back at a significant event in American history – the 1965 Watts Uprising. This leads us to think about how technology, particularly cell phones, and demographic change have significantly changed how police brutality is experienced and confronted. And we talk about how white anger and "law and order" voting is echoed in the MAGA backlash against the first Black President. More at proleftpod.com.
