Moms, are you tired? Burned out? Stressed out? We can relate. Moms are masters of multi-tasking while also appearing we have it all together. But sometimes, we need a moment to sit down in our souls and spend time with Jesus. To identify the areas we feel confused or stuck. We need to ask God questions about where we are and look to the Holy Spirit to help us identify the lies we believe about our circumstances.
In this episode, you will go through guided prayer and listening exercises with Lindsay as you remember that Jesus is our rest and that we can come to Him to find peace and truth in our complicated circumstances. After the prayer exercise, Faith, Deb, and Michelle share what God stirred in their hearts as they went through the questions, and Lindsay closes with a poem that reminds us of Jesus’ words:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-20
