James E. West Fellowship Award recognizes the financial contribution to the Boy Scouts of America. It would seem that this is kind of straightforward however it's not. There are many ways to contribute and there are different levels of recognition. This is recognized by a colorful green and yellow square knot with a red border. Many recipients receive this recognition when a contribution is made in their honor.
