The ‘Grig & Grig’ show is back after Murph’s recent run in a VN Commodore in the awesome Heritage Touring Car support races at the Bathurst 1000 where he was also a Fanbassador!

The gig went so well he is now off to the season ending VAILO Adelaide 500 in a similar role. Speedway, Supercross, plus Cold Chisel, Crowded House and now with added Murph!

The 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500 is the 25th edition of the event, General Admission tickets start from $39 and can be bought at Ticketmaster, which includes access to NAPA Speedway, Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Sprint and after-race concert series headlined by Cold Chisel and Crowded House. For more information, visit adelaide500.com.au

Back to the Shortcast, we talk about that forthcoming Supercars title decider plus reflections on the Bathurst and Gold Coast rounds. Why the best is yet to come for Ryan Wood at Walkinshaw Andretti United, Richie Stanaway’s new home and why he’s flying again.

There’s the new Next Gen championship over summer which fittingly includes the next generation of Murphy’s getting behind the wheel and the mic!

It wouldn’t be complete without some thoughts on Liam Lawson’s performance at the F1 races in Texas and Mexico, where the next young Kiwi open wheel stars might come from as the Tony Quinn Foundation continues to help open doors.

And Murph’s passionate pursuit of better driving standards for young motorists in his native New Zealand through his excellent Street Smart program.
