Times have changed, and the world is moving at full throttle. To survive in this technologically advanced society you must acquire the skills of the age.
Our guest this week Precious Nwosu, a social media manager and Facebook advertising expert helped us understand the need to acquire a digital skill in the 21st century and the danger of not having one.
According to him, "if you are not equipped with digital skills the world will leave you behind" that sounds scary, but it's true.
We live in a time where you can communicate with someone in another continent from the comfort of your home. You can sell across borders from wherever you are.
He also went further to explain the three important things to look out for when deciding on a skill to learn.
First, A skill must be able to be reproduced
Second, A skill must be transferable
Third, the skill must be preserve able
The need to acquire digital skills cannot be over-emphasised but how do you choose from the abundance of skills available?
To answer this, he said content writing is one of the most relevant skills. A skill he advised that everyone should have. The reason is that every other skill can be built on it.
