This first episode of Season One gives us an overview of the logistics and industrial segment of commercial real estate across Europe. Hosted by seasoned real estate professional Jan van den Hogen, Tenant Relationship Manager for global logistics at Deka Immobilien GmbH in Germany. He speaks today with Kevin Mofid, Head of EMEA logistics research at Savills in the UK. They explore the fallout from the tragic situation currently unfolding in Ukraine but also the two years of pandemic and their impact on the market today. They also cover the constant expansion of e-commerce and therefore warehouse space and how that evolution interfaces with the rise of NIMBY sentiments from many actors in society as the industry tries to find new designs to continue to supply more product.
