Sharing their own personal drama school experiences, from the valuable contacts and confidence gained to the financial burdens incurred, the hosts also discuss whether on-the-job training could, for some, be just as valuable. There’s some nostalgic chatter about their early days talent-spotting promising students, Mark’s tendency to get “overly zealous”, and Hannah’s first hesitant steps into the spotlight. They also tackle the ups and downs of the acting life, from losing motivation in “sad season” January to the stresses of making rent between acting gigs.
