Marquee Moon, the debut album by Television, released in 1977, is widely regarded as a cornerstone of punk rock and post-punk. With its angular, intricate guitar work and poetic lyrics, the album broke away from the fast-and-furious energy of typical punk, offering a more artful and complex sound.
