#162 - Is God in Control? - Pt 2

Is God in Control? For some that depends on how you define his control? What is he in control of? Is it about an ultimate outcome or day-to-day operations and activities? Many atheists have become of that belief, because of major tragedies within their own lives that they though God could have or should have prevented. This way of thinking has damaged the view that many have of God. A deeper look into Genesis 1:26-27 should give us an understanding of what God is really talking about when he gave humans "dominion" over all the earth. The Bible reveals a very poignant statement in Psalms 115:16, "The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men." In any case where a parent gave a gift to their child, unless it was a young child who they could take the gift away as punishment, when do you see a child having their gift taken back? Never. It is theirs to do with it whatever they like. This is part 2 of our 3 part series where we will delve into this subject a little deeper, looking at examples of how Jesus was tempted and so forth.
