This episode is a recording of a live event in Oslo 11.12.24: From Hiroshima to Gaza, with Hiroshima survivor Ms. Rumi Hanagaki, and Gaza-photojournalist Motaz Azaiza. The event is opened with a joik by Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen, and an introduction by Beatrice Fihn, the Executive director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). The conversation is led by artist and activist Nosizwe Baqwa, and the event ends with a speech by the leader of Palestinakomiteen (The Palestine Committee of Norway), Line Khateeb.
The event was hosted by ICAN, Lex International, Aksjonsgruppa for Palestina and Palestinakomiteen i Norge, and supported by Fritt Ord and Norsk Folkehjelp (Norwegian People's Aid).
