If you've ever wondered how to oppose the soft doctrine of Romans 13, this show will give you numerous biblical examples of believers opposing government authority. Romans 13 only makes sense when you have good government. When gubberment is evil, Christians must discern, move, and act according to God's truth and love.
SHOW NOTES:

-Moses confronted Pharaoh (Exodus Chapters 5-11)

-David spoke truth to King Saul (1 Samuel 24)

-Nehemiah sought favor and a leave of absence t from the King (Nehemiah 2)

-Paul confronted the Romans about his citizenship (Acts 22:25)

-John the Baptist spoke truth to the King Herod (Luke 3:19)

-Joshua listened to God and overtook the city of Jericho (Joshua 6:1-27)

-God used many Prophets to rebuke Kings like Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and others

”Then I said, “Alas, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, Because I am a youth.” See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, To pluck up and to break down, To destroy and to overthrow, To build and to plant.”“

Jeremiah 1:6, 10

”The priests did not say, ‘Where is the Lord?’ And those who handle the law did not know Me; The rulers also transgressed against Me, And the prophets prophesied by Baal And walked after things that did not profit.“

Jeremiah 2:8

”Your own wickedness will correct you, And your apostasies will reprove you; Know therefore and see that it is evil and bitter For you to forsake the Lord your God, And the dread of Me is not in you,” declares the Lord God of hosts.“

Jeremiah 2:19

And God has given us authority to go into ALL world and make disciples of all nations; to testify of God sovereign authority, His compassion for all and to stand for truth, righteousness and justice.
