On this week's episode, NPM's Andrew Burnes is joined by Louisiana PSC commissioner Davante Lewis who is wrapping up his first year in office and is grappling with major policy discussions in the state regarding whether renewable project development should be allowed outside the purview of the vertically integrated utilities.
Mr. Lewis walks us through that debate and the interest level on the ground for opening up renewable project development. He also shares his concerns about specific technologies earmarked for development in Louisiana including offshore wind and carbon capture and storage.
