What Are the 70 Weeks of Daniel?

What Does This End Times Prophecy Mean?
These 70 weeks will take place before God puts an end to sin and bring everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:24).

Theologians agree that the "sevens" appear to mean "years."

So 70 years of X 7 weeks = 490 years.

Most believers today refer to the period of God bringing everlasting righteousness as 70 weeks, they really mean 70 X 7 years.

This is why Jesus told the apostle Peter to forgive 70 x 7 until He comes back for judgment

The prophecy divides up these 490 years in several ways.
