This week we sit down with Sarah Murdie who is the Director of Wanderers' Rest Humane Association, the only animal shelter in Madison County, and the Director of the Madison County Veterans Service Agency Ron Raymer. The two organizations were brought together by Town of Lincoln Supervisor Melissa During, and have been doing amazing things ever since.
Take a listen as we discuss their collaboration to create Karma's Kompanions which unites veterans with shelter animals, and how the program creates a mutually beneficial relationship.
