亞洲家庭其實有一個不太好的習慣，會習慣藉由貶低自己的孩子來激勵孩子變得更好。 我記得我小時候信心滿滿的拿自己的考卷給媽媽看，但是媽媽卻跟我說，「怎麼沒有滿分」。當時我非常難過，就跟母親很生氣的說「你為什麼要這樣講！你要鼓勵我！如果你想要讓我變得更好就要先讓我覺得自己做得很棒！」 藉由這樣的溝通，讓母親知道我需要「肯定的言語」才能前進。

我今天跟風嘗試使用了，近期爆紅的Clubhouse社交軟體。 這個社交軟體，以語音為主。用戶可以進入不同的討論房間來跟大家進行討論。功能其實非常簡單，除了語音聊天之外就沒有了，不能視訊，也無法輸入文字訊息。 要加入這個軟體必須要有朋友邀請你，而一個人又只有兩個邀請的額度，所以就開始有一個拉一個的下載、跟風熱潮。 其實這樣的社交功能不太適合我。對於希望能與人連結的，或許很有用。但對我來說，資訊量有點過低，不同人聊天的頻率也很卡、很花時間，所以沒有很喜歡。

有一位台灣的英文網紅，昨天在網路上發的文章為了要強調學習英文的重要，並且說服大家跟他買線上課程，說了「看電影的時候還需要看字幕很可怕」「讀英文的時候不懂梗很可怕」。但其實我覺得最可怕的是這種，因為自己會英文就傲慢起來的態度。 我想趁這一集跟大家分享我的看法，希望大家在聽不懂自己在學的語言的笑話時，不要覺得難過 有些時候聽不懂笑話，不只是不認識單字，更是很多時候文化上就是不理解。不知道那個特定的說法在那個文化中起源、用法、脈絡等。 就算是自己的母語，也常常會出現因為世代差距，或是因為在不同生活圈，所以互相不理解笑點。
