Even as Donald Trump pledges love and pardons for the January 6th defendants - people he told to march on the Capitol and stop the certification of Joe Biden's election win - federal judges are sentencing defendant after defendant for participating in the very attack Trump directed. During four J6 sentencing hearings on Dec. 6th, several federal judges sounded the alarm, highlighting the ongoing danger to American democracy by those who would downplay or misrepresent the nature of the January 6th attack on the Capitol.
