Giants outclassed by 49ers, but it's too soon to write them off. No historic comeback this time. The Giants, now outscored 63-6 in three first halves this season, were unable to climb out of another hole on Thursday Night Football and fell 30-12 to the undefeated San Francisco 49ers.

The Gmen face the Seattle Seahawks on MNF, on October 2nd

Running back Saquon Barkley (high ankle sprain) and left tackle Andrew Thomas (hamstring) both practiced for the New York Giants on Thursday, with both star players hoping to return for Monday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Barkley, who missed last week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, is hoping to make a quick return from his injury. Head coach Brian Daboll said Barkley is “making progress.”
