Shoonya is literally zero in the Indian numbering system, the place from which all things begin. It is also a term in Buddhist thought, usually translated as emptiness or nothingness. In Sanskrit, one of its primary meanings is empty space or void. This Poem by Zakir Khan, very much written in the now, sways through one's mental state during an extreme failure. For a person who is constantly building within self, knows that the emptiness, the SHOONYA is not where it ends (as bhawnaayein ab khatm hai) , but where it starts. That journey, where in a moment one is "Beech raah ki Maat" but in another is also "Sab se jo mein mahan hoon". It is relatable to the one who has felt extremely week in one moment, but as optimistically never endingly (Main jal-prawah nihaar hoon) kept on with the efforts, kept faith in one's own self.
