In April 2018, Starbucks found itself on the verge of catastrophic damage to its brand when a video went viral showing two African American men arrested for merely sitting inside of a Philadelphia Starbucks. Richard Harris was selected by Starbucks to counsel them. Rich shares the insight, wisdom and habits that Executive Chairman Howard Schultz and CEO Kevin Johnson relied upon to turn a shameful racial incident into an opportunity for growth and change.
