Since Dr. Milavsky began serving as principal, Lawrence Middle School has received 9 Promising Practice Awards from the Character Education Partnership and has been identified as a NJ State School of Character. Beyond the school day, Dr. Milavsky serves as an instructor for the Foundation for Educational Administrators’ nationally recognized NJEXCEL program, inspiring future administrators to lead with heart. Throughout the episode, she reflects on her 30 years of experience as an educator, opens up about her background, the pivotal moments that led her to become a changemaker, and how she empowers people to make change happen.
