Intel brought unique acceleration optimized for specific network workloads including virtual EPC, open virtual switching (OvS), 5G user plane functions, routers, switches and VCCAP, among others.

Dan also talks about the new Intel Xeon D-1600, which is part of Intel’s strategy to deliver the right performance, right power and right price for multiple network locations. The new solution is optimized for network edge, control plane, security and mid-range storage applications uCPE, routers, network security appliances and wireless base stations.
