This week the gals explore stories from the first people of Maine, the Wabanaki!
First Melly shares about a conversation she overheard while at work, on this week's Signs, Synchronicities, & Spectral Sightings. The interesting thing about this conversation is that no one was in the room at the time.
It's Thanksgiving here in the U.S. and for many people this is a joyous time of celebration and reflection. Chat decided to go back to the roots of this country to the first people of the U.S., specifically those from Maine, and share a paranormal story from the Wabanaki Nation.
Chat shares a brief description of their culture that includes the dark blemish in Maine's history of the treatment of our indigenous people and how certain groups are looking to advocate and empower the remaining tribes today. While Thanksgiving is a time of happiness and gratitude we would be remiss in ignoring this part of history, to learn from our past so as not repeat it.
Chat shares the stories of an old Wabanaki man who has a strange request from the other villagers he resides with. A resurrection, a man who ages quickly, and a cairn leave us with the warning: don't touch the stones.
