Today’s podcast shares the journey of Craig Mobley, Clemson’s first African-American scholarship student-athlete in any sport, when he came to Clemson from Chester, SC, as an honor student in the fall of 1969. Mobley played two years on the Clemson basketball team before deciding to concentrate on his studies. He certainly did that, earning a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, with a minor in physics.
