In 2018, in the midst of mental and emotional darkness, Anj adopted "Joybug" a 1974 Argosy Airstream. This was on the advice of her therapist at the time, who suggested that she'll find an "outward way to see the manifestations of growth within". Anj decided to rebuild Joybug as a way to rebuild herself. And it's been a long journey, learning things she never thought she could do, becoming a handywomen, getting down and dirty, putting her heart, sweat and soul into this project that healed her and made her stronger than ever before. The JoyBug Journey is about creating a beacon of hope and rebirth. In her design, Anj has always worked to create what she calls "livable art." When Joybug is finished, Anj wants her to be functional but also a personal masterpiece.
