Delon Wright signs with Bucks as NBA free agency speeds up

The Milwaukee Bucks made their first 2024 NBA free agent signing on Monday when they agreed to terms on a veteran minimum contract with Delon Wright, the defensively-gifted combo guard who most recently played for the Miami Heat. Ti Windisch, Rohan Katti, and Jordan Treske shared their full analysis of the signing, Wright as a player, and whether he fits best as a starter or coming off the bench.

The Bucks also agreed to terms on a two-way deal with former Pistons forward Stanley Umude, a promising defensive prospect who has shown some flashes of being a good shooter too. After discussing Umude, the group moved on to cover available free agents still on the board who would fit well in Milwaukee, and then eventually spit-balled some potential trades given the Brook Lopez rumors persist.
