When you see a still, it’s usually bright shiny copper, standing majestically in it’s space saying look at me. At Old Monroe Distillery, the still you will see has a past. It’s not overly shiny. It’s got some words on it that don’t make sense, and when you do a little digging, you find out that World War II has something to do with this still. This is an episode you don’t want to miss.
