Born and raised in Sarajevo, studied engineering and ended up as a globally recognised leader in the communication and advertising media world. The circumstances back at her home country set Gordana on a journey she had never envisaged. Today she is a marketing and advertising media professional with extensive experience in leading global clients and their business and digital transformation agenda.
She enlightened us with insights about the importance of media, ethical conduct in the industry, protecting brand integrity and how the trust in media has been shaken by recent events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the US elections. We also explore the difference between mentoring and coaching and advice on uncovering your true passion.
Gordana started her career as an assistant at Zenith Media agency in London and became its media account director after four years.She ran multi-million dollar accounts such as Aviva, Bacardi-Martini, Electrolux, and Reckitt Benckiser. As Head of Business Strategy and Commercial Planning at Publicis Media, she worked with some of the most renowned companies across the globe with over 23,500 employees worldwide. In her current role as EVP, Global Client Transformation at Havas Media, her focus is on helping renowned Global clients with their business and digital transformation by designing the bespoke solutions.
