Hello and welcome back to the time machine. Today we will travel back 72 years to a new show here on the time machine. Unlike the normal private detectives we feature, I would like to introduce you to Nero Wolfe in only the way his assistant Archie can.
Nero Wolfe was first broadcast from 1950 to 1951 starring Sydney Greenstreet as the fictional armchair detective, Nero Wolfe. This show is one of the most entertaining, hilarious, and differently styled series I have ever heard. The true star of the show in my opinion is Wolfe’s assistant Archie Goodwin, played by several different actors over the years as he does most of the legwork for the stagnant and often intoxicated Mr. Wolfe.
We will join Mr. Wolfe in his very first episode, from October 20th 1950, please sit back, relax, and enjoy The New Adventures of Nero Wolfe with Stamped for Murder.
