There is a fair amount of skepticism surrounding the effectiveness of physician coaching, so it’s exciting to share the recently published research demonstrating the efficacy of this incredible tool. Dr. Tyra Fainstad and Dr. Adrienne Mann were the principal investigators of the randomized controlled trial published in JAMA in October 2023. Both practicing physicians are certified professional life coaches and co-directors of the online group coaching initiative known as Better Together Physician Coaching.
