55 // Calling All Angry Moms! Try This Thought the Next Time You Start to Lose Your Temper With Your Kids

Ever yelled at your kid because you were trying to get something done and he just would not. stop. bothering you until you lost it?
Mom rage is a real threat to the peace of your home and you’re not alone in dealing with feeling like you’re just a stressed out, angry mama.
Maybe you’ve been in the kitchen, trying to get dinner done, and you find yourself yelling at your toddler for doing something inappropriate because you just don’t have time to respond to the situation calmly.
I know as a working mom it’s easy to feel like there’s not enough time, and often angry outbursts happen when you’re feeling rushed. The overwhelm of motherhood has a tendency to get you feeling stressed as a mom, and like you’re behind on life.
Today I’m sharing one thought to turn to when you feel the anger rising. When you’re feeling rushed, over-scheduled, and like you’ll never get that to-do list completed. When you feel like your kids are on a mission to wreak havoc on any semblance of a schedule or plan.
This thought will help quell the anger and keep you calm in the face of distractions, interruptions, and all the ways your littles get under your skin when you’re trying to make something happen.
It will also help you be more present as a mom and spend more intentional time with your family–because you won’t be distracted by the biggest lie Satan tries to convince you of on a daily basis.
