Bhuvan Kumar Dahal has a Master in Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor in Humanities and Social Science (Economics and English). He has co-authored several books, including "A Handbook of Banking" and "Glossary of Banking Terms." Dahal has also served in various committees of the NRB and Finance Ministry, was the formal president of the NBA, was the formal CEO of Sanima Bank Ltd., and is the current chairperson of Financial Literacy Nepal.
He has attended major international trainings and seminars, including Leading Global Business, Bancs IT, Asset Liability Management, Credit Management, Euromoney Asia, Total Quality Management in the Service Sector, and International Spring Seminars. He has held various positions at Nabil Bank, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. Dahal has also served on management committees at Nabil Bank Limited and Sanima Bank Limited. He has also facilitated Nepal Rastra Bank in different aspect, and the Nepal Bankers' Association. Dahal is currently a board member at the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health and the University of 3 Generations. He has visited countries such as Australia, Baharain, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tibet, the UAE, the UK, and the USA.
