Earlier this year, de Moraes ordered X to block specific accounts linked to investigations of digital militias accused of spreading false news and hate speech. In response, Musk condemned the order as censorship and shut down the platform’s offices in Brazil. Justice Alexandre de Moraes said that X would be banned until it complies with all court orders and settles existing fines.
