Michigan’s Forgotten Victims: The Dark Legacy of Arthur Ream
Manage episode 359790582 series 3365057
Thirteen-year-old Cynthia Coon was a typical teenager in the 1970s. A student at Forsythe Junior High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Cynthia—affectionately known as Cindy—loved spending time in her room listening to music or hanging out with friends.
On January 19, 1970, what should have been an ordinary day for the Coon family turned into a nightmare. Cynthia left for school that morning but never returned. More than 50 years later, her disappearance remains unsolved, leaving her family and friends with unanswered questions and heartbreak.
If you have any information about the disappearance of Cynthia Coon, please contact Detective Mike Trister of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office at 734-971-8400 and reference case number 70-0627.
