Derrick Decker has been an athletic trainer for many years and started his journey at Ball State University in Muncie, IN, followed by an internship with the Indianapolis Colts. His path continued at the University of Missouri – Columbia and continued one more year with the NFL with the Carolina Panthers prior to his switch to MiLB and currently is an Athletic Trainer for the Texas Rangers. In this podcast, he shares more about his role, what he's learned along the way, and the value of mental health and his high ambitions to contribute to the MLB community.
At this time in our world with so much uncertainty, we listen and learn from those involved or connected in the sports world as they share their own personal stories and how it's impacted them to focus on mental wellness.
