Jay discusses the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear CHIP’s petition challenging the constitutionality of New York’s rent stabilization laws; his advocacy for legislation that would reset rents on units vacated by long-time tenants to help pay for renovations; and how the city could provide vouchers to tenants struggling to pay rent.
